Take a front row seat where battles over the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros took place.
We really like this Game of Thrones Map, and since Ulster has so much to offer we’ve added a few extra days for you.

Arrive in Belfast, a compact cosmopolitan city that has seen it’s troubled history give way to unique festivals, great shopping and fantastic night life, and a rich history that revolves around the legendary Titanic Experience – well worth a visit.
You’re sure to receive a warm Irish welcome from the wonderful Fitzwilliam Hotel in Belfast. This modern 4 Star hotel offers a city center location close to everything and a level of service that is top notch. Walk across the street to the famous “Crown Bar” for a pint in one of the oldest drinking establishments on the island.
Depart Belfast for the breath-taking coastal scenery of the Antrim Coast.
Day 3
Continue to follow the suggested itinerary for Game of Thrones.
Day 4
Take in the charming city of Derry/Londonderry, a UK City of Culture. We highly recommend Derry City Tours for a brilliant insight into the history and culture of Derry from emigration history to the “The Troubles” to a modern cosmopolitan city. And Derry/Londonderry plays host to a wonderful Halloween street party, the biggest of it’s kind in Europe. Dress up as your favorite character from Game of Thrones and join in the fun!
Day 5
Your itinerary has been jam-packed, so we suggest slowing the pace a bit to focus on rest and relaxation, and there’s no better place to unwind than the wonderful Lough Erne Resort – home to the 2013 G-8 summit of world leaders. Take in a round of golf, take a boat out on the water, or simply enjoy the gourmet food and hospitality of the resort.
Day 6
If you have a bit more energy for some sight-seeing there are still some great things to see nearby. We suggest 2 that will make your Ireland vacation complete.
Our first suggestion is the Ulster American Folk Park. Here you’ll learn firsthand how the people and culture of Ulster inspired American culture. You’ll experience period building and character actors who bring history to life. And a trip to this wonderful corner of the world would not be complete without a stop to Belleek Pottery. See first hand how this iconic Irish pottery is created – much of it still by the hand of skilled artisans.
Day 7
Your “wee” Northern Ireland tour comes to a close as you prepare for your flight home. If you’re leaving from Belfast, you’ll enjoy the convenience of the smaller and “user friendly” airport. Departing from Dublin? It’s not much further away and offers US Customs and Border Protection services in Ireland, meaning you’ll arrive back in the USA as a “domestic” passenger and making onward connections quick and easy or if you arrive in your home airport, all entry formalities are taken care of and you make a quick exit for home.
On your way back towards Belfast, we suggest a stop at The Brewer’s House in Donaghmore, Co. Tyrone. This wonderful “gastro-pub” features a fresh take on casual dining and is far from the “pub grub”. And they plan to start a micro-brew operation as well, so you may be one of the fist to sample a hand-crafted pint or two.
