Fáilte go h-Éirinn! Meet your Irish driver/guide in the arrivals hall and start your journey. Your early arrival should have you ready for some tea and scones. Afterwards, enjoy the scenic views of Ireland’s wild green countryside as you make your way to Dublin. Enjoy an orientation sightseeing tour of Dublin City to explore the elegant Georgian squares and houses, colorful parks, and bustling shopping areas. Your tour will end at the Guinness Storehouse, Ireland’s number one visitor attraction. Enjoy your perfect pint over-looking the city in the Gravity Bar. The remainder of the day is free to explore this historic city. Tonight enjoy dinner and entertainment at The Brazen Head, known as the oldest pub in Ireland. Dine in a candlelit room and be mesmerized by the storytelling of a local Irishman who will narrate the history, folklore and myths of times past and present. Mar 17 – Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

St. Patrick’s Day! Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. As the one national holiday that is celebrated in more countries around the world than any other, St. Patrick’s Day is the day when everyone wants to be Irish. To offer a national festival that ranks amongst all of the greatest celebration in the world, preparation for the first St Patrick’s Festival now takes 18 months to plan for Ireland’s biggest annual celebration. So today you will be among the locals venturing through the city attending the parade! Dinner will be on your own this evening. Today enjoy a leisurely breakfast and discuss the celebrations from yesterday. Visit Trinity College for a glimpse of the world-renowned 9th century Book of Kells before taking a relaxing drive to Kilkenny, undoubtedly one of Ireland’s loveliest cities. Enjoy a tour of Kilkenny Castle, once a meeting place for Irish Parliament in the 13th century. Overnight: Kilkenny River Court Hotel, Kilkenny (B,D)

Visit the Rock of Cashel, which was the traditional seat of the kings of Munster. The majority of buildings on the current site date from the 12th and 13th centuries. The picturesque complex has a character of its own and is one of the most remarkable collections of Celtic art and medieval architecture to be found anywhere in Europe. Our next stop today will be the world famous Blarney Castle. The Castle was built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland’s greatest chieftains, Cormac MacCarthy.  At the top of the castle lies the Blarney Stone, the legendary Stone of Eloquence. Kiss it and you’ll never again be lost for words. Time for a short visit to the adjacent Blarney Woolen Mills, a favorite of shoppers. Continue to Killarney with time to explore the town before joining your fellow travelers for dinner at the hotel. Overnight: Killarney Towers Hotel, Killarney (B, D)

Today you will tour the famous Ring of Kerry. This circular tour will reveal constantly changing vistas of mountains; open Atlantic Ocean, beaches and cliffs. Move onward through the remote towns of Cahirciveen and Waterville. A stop at Moll’s Gap to view the three lakes with the mountains and town in the background is a photographic necessity. Enjoy a Jaunting car ride that rambles its way through Killarney National Park to Ross Castle. Today you will travel north to Clare. Travel through the Burren, an impressive region with a limestone landscape that cultivates unique flora and megalithic tombs and monuments older than Egypt’s pyramids. Visit the magnificent Cliffs of Moher which rise 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean with time to walk to the cliff’s edge and breathe in the fresh Irish air. Enjoy your last evening in Ireland with a farewell dinner at your hotel.  Overnight: Old Ground Hotel, Clare (B, D)
